 r plaza at 6:00pm. Please feel free to bring your own chairs - limited s
 eating is available on the planters. Concessions will be available for p
 urchase from The Cedar\, and food from Tamu Grill and desserts from Nade
 r Persian Restaurant will be available for purchase\, as well.\nIn the e
 vent of severe weather\, or an air quality advisory\, we will not resche
 dule the event. Instead\, we will host the show indoors at The Cedar and
  admit all patrons into the show on a first-come\, first-served basis un
 til the venue reaches capacity.\nProspective attendees can RSVP to this

 Summer at The Cedar: a free Tuesday night concert series outdoors on the
  Cedar Plaza featuring both international and local artists! This evenin
 g features Frank Buffalo Hyde and Willows\, groups led by local Indigeno
 us artists that draw on folk\, blues\, and soul traditions. We will be c
 elebrating AL·TER·NA·TIVE\, Frank's solo exhibition with All My Relat
 ions Arts\, coming to a successful close. Food and beverages will be ava
 ilable for purchase from local vendors and The Cedar\, and various commu
 nity organizations will be tabling.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSUMMER AT THE CEDAR\n\n

 \nFrank Buffalo Hyde is an Onondaga/Niimíipuu (Nez Perce) artist whose 
 paintings examine and elevate an image of contemporary Indigenous life t
 hrough a vibrant pop-sensibility and uncompromising satirical eye. His w
 ork has been shown at museums including the Wheelright Museum of the Ame
 rican Indian\, Santa Fe\, NM\; the C.M Russell Museum\, Great Falls\, MT
 \; and Gilcrease Museum\, Tulsa\, OK. It is in the public collections of
  the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian\, Washington DC\
 ; Peabody Essex Museum\, Salem\, MA\; Everson Museum of Art\, Syracuse\,
  NY\; Iroquois Museum\, Cobleskill\, NY\; Longyear Museum at Colgate Uni
 versity\, Hamilton\, NY\; the Institute of American Indian Arts\, Santa 
 Fe\, NM\; the Wheelwright Museum of the American Indian. Hyde lives and

 ion featuring a collection of paintings and sculptures from artist Frank
  Buffalo Hyde (Onondaga/Niimíipuu (Nez Perce). Vivid and pop-culture sa
 turated\, his work reflects on the commodification of American Indian cu
 lture\, and the assertive roles for Native American identity in the cont
 emporary world. Self-proclaimed as consciously\, culturally non-transact
 ional\, Frank’s work comments on cultural appropriation and societal d
 isruption through his uncompromising satirical eye. A defiant take on th
 e skewed perceptions of Native American art and culture tourism\, Frankâ
 €™s allegorical work is geared towards Native people first and disarms t
 hrough banter while making references to antiquated technology in conver
 sation with the metaverse\; and provides a layered commentary on the col
